Title: Restaurant Server
Reports To: Assistant Restaurant/Restaurant Manager
Department: Food And Beverage
Summary Of The Position:
Provide professional, courteous and efforts to create an exceptional dining experience for all
our guests. The server’s primary objective is to ensure all guests are provided the utmost
dining experience where extensive experience in hospitality can be put to use and develop
guest relations and loyalty.
Duties And Responsibilities:
? Welcome and greet guests. Ensure that all guests are given the necessary attention and
a sense of urgency to create an exceptional lasting impression.
? Prepares room for dining with tables set up according to “Smokey Blues” Standards
? Protects establishments and guests by adhering to sanitation, safety, and alcohol
beverage control policies.
? Assist the guest’s selection of food and beverages by presenting a menu; offering
cocktails and aperitifs; suggesting courses; explaining the chef’s specialties; identifying
appropriate wines; answering food preparation and dietary restriction questions.
? Transmits order to the bar and kitchen by recording guests’ choices with POS;
identifying guest special needs and other special requests.
? Keep the kitchen informed by noting the timing of meal progression.
? Serves orders by picking up and delivering to guests from the bar and kitchen;
delivering accompaniments and condiments from the kitchen.
? Responds to any additional guest requirements by inquiring about needs; observing the
dining process.
? Maintains table setting by removing courses as completed; replenishing utensils;
refilling beverages; being alert to guest special needs.
? Concludes dining experience by acknowledging choice of restaurant; inviting guests to
return.
? Obtains revenues by totaling charges; issuing bills; accepting payment; payment using
terminal machines through credit and or room charges.
? Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed and or any other
assigned duties by the F&B Management

Skills And Qualification:
? Excellent Customer Service and selling to the needs of our guests, previous server
position in a high-end setting is an asset.
? Basic Knowledge of food presentation, preparation, and handling
? Posses’ general math skills and knowledge in operating POS system
? Excellent Verbal or Written Communication
? Enthusiasm to Hospitality and committed to exceptional service.
? Positive Attitude, Teamwork, Persistence, Energy Level and Professionalism
? Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time.
? Be able to safely lift and easily maneuver trays of food frequently weighing up to 20 to
25 pounds.
? Punctuality and reliable attendance
? Must be detail oriented.
? Smart Serve Certified and Food Handler’s Certified are required.
Note :
- Experience : Min 1 year working with 4-5 star hotels, Looking for well groomed
candidates
- Qualification : Degree / Diploma or any course in Hospitality will do
- Communication : Excellent in English
Salary + tips, annual bonus, incentives
Terms :
1. Contract period : 2 years (Renewable)
2. Food allowance : Yes
3. Accommodation : Shared accommodation, Medical, life insurance, local transportation,
workman compensation : Will be provided by client
4. Overtime - No overtime provision
5. Working hours : 54 hrs weekly and a day off
6. Joining Air ticket: Will be provided by the client.
7. Return Ticket: Provided by client after the completion of every 2 years
8. Eligible Nationality: Any
CFC = 500 + GAMCA Medical + Visa stamping cost extra
