General Purpose of the Position:
An Automation Sales Engineer’s purpose is to effectively develop and execute sales of Industrial
automation products and services in an assigned territory.
The Automation Sales Engineer is involved from the concept and detail of the design through to
implementation, testing and handover.
The Automation Sales Engineer is responsible for analyzing the customer’s needs with respect to
our product offerings and propose options to the customer to help them achieve their objectives.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Sales of business solutions based on our automation hardware and software products and
solutions within an assigned geographic territory.
o Primary automation hardware lines are GE, Rockwell, Siemens etc and specialized one's
like Banner Engineering and eWON ( A Belgium industrial communications solutions
company) etc which enables us to offer beautiful solutions to all the client
requirements.
Effectively conduct customer presentations to all levels of the customer’s organization.
Identify and cultivate strategic relationships at all levels of the customer’s organization.
Research suitable solutions and estimate costs and timescales.
Liaising with others in the design team, clients, and contractors.
Prospect the assigned territory identifying and developing automation clientele.
Follow up quotations with technical support, commercial negotiations and persuade/convince
customer to place the order with us.
