Job Description
Brief description :
Design and implement fast, resilient and scalable services
Manage and deliver complex infrastructure projects
Deploy, monitor and administer applications and their underlying services for Cloud (AWS) technologies and in remote and local data centre’s
Migrating test systems to production status through deployment and release process to AWS and other data centre’s
Infrastructure as Code, including build automation scripts and frameworks
Propose and implement ideas to improve operational processes and procedures
Installing, configuring and managing physical and virtual servers
Give cross training and create documentation or self-documenting services.
Preferred skills
A Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering / Computer Science
Overall 8+ years’ experience of which 2+ years as an Architect using cloud technologies (AWS)
Strong knowledge of deployment automation, orchestration and configuration management
Good understanding of scripting and stack automation – Cloud Formation, Bash, PowerShell, VB script
Excellent exposure on high availability clusters, load balancing devices and scalability technologies
Good working knowledge of AWS EC2, VPC, Elastic Beanstalk, S3, RDS and ECS/Docker
Good working knowledge of web services, Windows and Linux servers, networking, storage and security
AWS certification would be a plus.
