The successful candidate will join our Search Engine development team working on a highly scalable, consumer facing website serving 10 million hits per day with large and rapidly growing data using SOLR search technology.

We're looking for someone who

Has 5+ years of Java and J2EE development experience of which 3+ years on SOLR implementation

Is involved in the implementation of best practices while creating and maintaining indexes for large and variable data sets

Has been instrumental in improving application performance by optimizing the search, ETL, data ingestion, etc

Is involved in working with large relational databases like MS SQL
