Job Description
Prepare authentic South Indian breakfast, lunch, and dinner menus.
Cook dishes such as dosa, idli, vada, appam, uttapam, sambar, chutneys, curries, rice varieties, and biryani.
Prepare food in bulk for catering operations.
Ensure consistency in taste, quality, and presentation.
Maintain kitchen hygiene and food safety standards.
Monitor stock levels and reduce food wastage.
Coordinate with the kitchen team to ensure timely meal production.
Minimum 3 years of experience as a South Indian Chef in a catering company, hotel, or restaurant.
Experience in large-scale catering or industrial kitchen operations is preferred.
Strong knowledge of authentic South Indian cuisine.
Knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards.
Ability to work under pressure and meet production schedules.
