    Responsibilities and Duties
    Working closely with the leadership team to develop the overall business plan and also the growth plan for coming years for the Rural business.
    Driving the entire PL for the Rural businesses in South India which includes building the book-size and the distribution reach for the business.
    Developing the product propositions, offering, strategy and features for the Rural products.
    Ensuring oversight on collections and working with the team on developing a strong collections strategy.
    To nurture and grow talent for the business across Sales, Product and Collections.
    Liaison with internal and external stakeholders for smooth functioning of the business.
    Reporting to GENERAL MANAGER
    Oversee the implementation of division policies, procedures and controls in the region so that all relevant procedural/regulatory requirements are met.
    Evaluate the needs of the Branch Banking segment in the region in order to capitalize on market opportunities and adjust marketing strategies to reflect changing conditions.
    Develop annual operational sales plans for the region in conjunction with Channel Heads based on the overall targets and budgets. Prioritize the overall efforts by service and allocation of resources.
    Continually monitor the market to determine the market size and market penetration of the Bank's liability products, third party products and services. Evaluate the timely adjustment of marketing strategy and plans in the region to meet changing markets and competitive conditions.
    Collaborate with product manager to develop new liability and third-party products and services in the region in line with regional preferences.
    Direct and implement in conjunction with Corporate Communication and Marketing Department, advertising and sales promotion plans in the region and evaluate the effect of such campaigns. Recommend strategies to reach potential customers based on the evaluation.
    Analyse competitor services and prices in the region and synthesize information to develop cost analysis and recommendations for the Bank's products.
    Direct the business development and sales call program in the region. Manage very important customers HNIs/ Government / Social Deposit etc. in the region to discuss their needs, outlining appropriate services and resolving problems as appropriate.
    Co-ordinate the Bank's participation in trade shows and community events in the region to promote products and services.
    Represent the bank in various forums with the consent of the management.
    Lead the identification of target customer segments in the region and ensure that relevant strategies are developed so as to maximize market penetration Responsible for expanding the branches in the respective location.
    Establish the culture of cross-selling within the Retail Liabilities team in the region by guiding the team in understanding requirements of the customer and effectively cross selling Retail Asset and MSME products.
    Ensure seamless integration between the different strategic business units operating within the region to achieve the overall target of the Bank.
    Regularly monitor the performance of Branch Banking business in the region and take corrective action, if required, to ensure achievement of set target.
    Qualifications and Skills
    MBA with Finance as Major
    Minimum 10 -12 years' experience in Micro and Small Finance Banking, NBFC, MUTUAL FUNDS
    Very good communication skills
    Experienced in leading and guiding a team of AREA managers
    Should have good knowledge of FIXED DEPOSITS, RECURRING DEPOSITS & Team management and should possess LEADERSHIP QUANTITIES.
    Knowledge of English and Malayalam is must.
