Job Description

We are looking for a Python (Django) Web Developer responsible for managing the interchange of data between the server and the users or between different servers.

Your primary focus will be the development of web applications along with its database structuring and server-side logic, ensuring high-performance rapid loading of pages and APIs.
You will also be responsible for integrating the front-end elements built by your co-workers into the application; therefore, a basic understanding of front-end technologies such as Javascript libraries, CSS, Mobile app development is necessary as well.
You will also be responsible for hosting your development application on servers based on Ubuntu OS hosted over AWS Cloud, which includes setting up of database and Web Server applications.
Responsibilities

Writing reusable, testable, and efficient code.
Implementation of Design Patterns for future compatibility.
Design and implementation of low-latency, high-availability, and performance applications
Integration of user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server-side logic
Implementation of security and data protection
Integration of data storage solutions {{may include databases, key-value stores, blob stores, etc.}}
Hosting of applications
Supporting Coworkers and training other Associates.
Requirements

Expert in Python, with good knowledge of Python Web framework Django
Familiarity with some ORM (Object Relational Mapper) libraries and its efficient usage using joins, merges and aggregations.
Able to integrate multiple data sources and databases into one system.
Strong Debugging Skills.
Good understanding of server-side templating languages
To be able to integrate third-party APIs.
Basic understanding of front-end technologies, such as JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and Bootstrap.
Knowledge of user authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments
Understanding of fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
Familiarity with event-driven programming in Python
Understanding of the differences between multiple delivery platforms, such as mobile vs desktop, and optimizing output to match the specific platform
Able to create database schemas that represent and support business processes
Fundamental unit test and debugging skills
Proficient understanding of code versioning tools Git
