Job Description

1. Oversee day-to-day construction activities to ensure projects are on schedule and within budget.
2. Monitor progress and quality of work to ensure that it meets design standards and safety regulations.
3. Check plans, drawings, and quantities for accuracy of calculations. Oversee the selection and requisition of materials.
4. Setting out the works in accordance with the drawings and specification.
5. Enforce safety protocols and address potential hazards to ensure a safe working environment for all personnel.
6. Conduct regular inspections and quality checks to ensure that the work meets the project requirements.
7. Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including daily reports, progress logs, site photos, individual villa/apartment drawings with changes if any and coordinate with the Office Engineer for updated and precise drawings.
8. To coordinate with different contractors, agencies to maintain and improve quality of construction work
9. Monitor performance of contractors and suppliers
10. To coordinate testing of materials wherever applicable and ensure specified quality standards are adhered to
11. Ensure proper implementation of construction plans, specifications, and drawings.
12. To prepare MIS on monthly basis, monthly consumption reports, daily progress report, etc

QUALIFICATION: B. Tech Civil Engineering with 3-4 years’ experience or Diploma in civil engineering with 5-6 years’ experience.

SKILLS:
• Should be able to understand working drawings.
• Good planning and scheduling skills
• Should have good experience in independent Residential Building/Apartment construction
• Should have experience in high end flats, villas or independent houses preferably.
• Tech savvy and familiar with the preparation of reports, quality control, etc.
• Good mathematical, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Knowledge on piling, excavation, structural, RCC Work, concreting, masonry, plastering, flooring and finishing works.
• Proficiency in Auto Cad and other construction software.
• Good communication skills
EXPERIENCE: Minimum five years in residential apartment/villa finishing works
PERSONALITY: A person with a positive attitude, willing to learn and adapt to situations, team player, empathetic, well organised and ethical
