Role and Responsibilities

Work directly with the various roles within the team to help define and deliver highly available, fault-tolerant solutions leveraging existing Cloud technology and Aventus designed architectures in a repeatable manner.
Know and implement the proper cloud services needed to deliver based on compute, data, sizing and security requirements
Have a high competency in integrating multiple cloud instances using Amazon (or other cloud providers) and industry best practices as it relates to the solution, including VPCs, VPNs, Elastic IP allocation and consumption.
Properly estimate cloud resource usage costs and savings efficiencies.
Identify opportunities for automation leveraging tools such as Saltstack, Ansible Tower, or Terraform.
Communicate with the Security Provider and implement the recommendations in a timely manner.

Instance Deployment
Instance Maintenance
Design, implement and maintain automation solutions as identified.
Basic Qualifications

3+ years of experience in complex Amazon AWS solutions Or Microsoft Azure Or Google Cloud
2+ years of experience in automation design and deployment in a Cloud environment
5+ years of experience in Linux administration
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or applicable disciplines, or equivalent work experience
Preferred Qualifications

Advanced experience in one or more of the following areas: Solutions Design, Solutions Administration, SDLC integration, Infrastructure Design
Significant fluency in two or more of the following: Python, Ansible, Terrafor, Cloud provider API usage, shell scripting & Database proficiency would be an additional plus.
Experience in a 24x7 services and/or support environment
