Roles and responsibilities

Create aesthetically pleasing visual interfaces for Pickyourtrail web and mobile products based on design ideas provided.
Work with interaction designers and product team to create visual outputs, ready for development.
Provide design assets and guidelines to development teams.
Define UI elements and components and maintain the existing library of design assets.
Create icons, product illustrations and layouts for Web, Mobile, Social Media assets.
Ensure consistent design language across various UI elements across the product line.
Advocate good design aesthetics across all brand communications including online and offline products and events.
Follow up with development teams to ensure design is delivered perfectly.
Technical skills

Ability to sketch on pen and paper to communicate ideas.
Create original, pixel perfect icons and vector illustrations.
Knowledge of icon fonts, typographic principles and graphic design principles.
Knowledge of motion design and experience is a bonus.
Good understanding of grid, composition and minimal aesthetics and information hierarchy.
Attention to detail and obsession for pixel perfect design.
Knowledge of HTML/CSS is desired.
Expert user of Illustrator, Photoshop, Sketch/XD/Figma
Must have a portfolio with relevant work samples.
