Job Description
Preferred skills
Ideal candidate should have: -
Proven working experience in Manual/Automation Testing. [6+ years, with minimum 3 years in automation testing]
Must have expertise in at least one high level programming / scripting languages [Java,Python,Ruby,VbScript,JavaScript)
Experience in Agile / scrum is an added advantage
Must be a fast learner and curious to learn new tools and trends in the testing industry
Experience in Selenium, QTP or other testing tools is preferred
Strong understanding of the QA process and should have a testing mindset
Must be able to produce Testing artifacts such as Test Plan, Test cases, test data, test execution reports etc.
Experience in planning/executing test activities, lead test resources.
Hands on knowledge of automated testing of Windows/Web/Linux applications
Hands on knowledge of BDD will be advantage
Should be willing involve in the actual test automation development if situation demands
Should have experience in developing test automation frameworks/guidelines/standards to use as a platform for other test automation developers
