Job Description

Brief description :

You will be on the front lines of interface design for digital products in the e-Learning and virtual event spaces. This includes desktop, learning management systems, virtual courses, websites, and 2-D and 3-D AR/VR experiences. You understand design systems — including identifying and organizing user needs through research and verification, mockup development using collaborative design software, and an understanding of design functionality and implementation. Working hand-in-hand with designers, instructional designers, multimedia and software developers, you will define how our products and client projects look and function. Ideally, you’ll have a good understanding of implementation knowledge (HTML/CSS understanding) for helping define design parameters and development.

Use rapid development tools to create mockups and functional prototypes
Have a great sense for current and modern design, using best practices and latest feature functionalities
Approach projects with templatization, component-building, and development preparation in front of mind
Collaborate in defining a content strategy when developing design solutions
Be in constant communication with the development teams and product owners to ensure wireframes and user flows are being properly followed to retain adherence to client objectives
Client presentation



Present and communicate insights to a C-level audience in order to help shape product decisions and existing client work
Request and implement constructive feedback from various levels of stakeholders
Development

Development of content based on UX work (HTML/HTML5/CSS)
Preferred skills

Strong creative portfolio demonstrating experience in product design for both web and mobile platforms
Experience with SaaS products preferred
Good use of typography, grid-based design, white space, and color theory
Proficiency in the Adobe Suite and prototyping tools; notably Illustrator, Photoshop, and XD among others
An understanding of interaction design principals and the ability to translate across platforms and verticals
The ability to create and maintain usability test scenarios, collect data, interpret data, and use research findings to inform current and future work
Creative problem-solving skills
A user-first mindset
Strong collaboration and communication skills
A history of graphic design or web/app development would be preferred as well as history working with learning management systems such as Blackboard or Moodle.
