Accountable for departmental budget development and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to ensure the LM Engine division operations and financial objectives are achieved
Designs or recommends new or modified parts and components (PMA/DER); Certification of engine parts by testing & analysis meeting airworthiness authorities requirements (TCCA, FAA & EASA); Directs establishment of structural specifications, performance of stress analysis and performance testing.
Initiates and manages the analysis of engine’s components damage tolerance, durability, design allowables and structural modeling of engines components including testing. Specific engineering specialties may include structural dynamics, simulation, burst margin, stability and stress fatigue and thermal analysis. Tools utilized may include FEM modelling, CATIA, IDEAS, ProEngineer.
Lead the technical support and troubleshooting during engine strip and build on CF34/CFM56/CF6 engine line
Responsible for addressing and resolving Material Review Board (MRB) requests and other engineering snags within a engine production schedule targets
