Job Description

Required Skills:
• Expert level knowledge with AWS design, architecture and services (EC2, IAM, S3 etc.)
• Sound experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation etc.)
• Sound knowledge of server infrastructure, virtualization, and cloud computing
• Experience in Software Installation, configuration and Patching Knowledge of system monitoring in a cloud environment including cloud specific products and tools
• Working in tandem with our engineering teams to identify and implement the most optimal cloud-based solutions for the company
• Collaborate with Software Development teams & Product Managers to ensure smooth deployment and operation of systems.
• Monitor cloud-based systems and components for availability, performance, reliability, security, efficiency, Cost, and ability to meet non-functional requirements and service level agreements.
• Support security audits, accreditation and certification processes, and obtaining approval to operate for cloud-based system architectures.
• Maintain documents and diagram cloud solutions, capturing requirements to support various platforms and systems.
• Define and establish secure cloud configurations, including integration with on-premises SIEM.
• Develop solutions integrating AWS clouds with services hosted on-premises and in other cloud platforms.
Desired Skills:
• Certification as an AWS Solutions Architect (Other cloud-related certification also a plus.)
• RedHat Enterprise Linux in-depth knowledge Infrastructure deployment experience in the Public cloud Knowledge of security controls for the Public cloud (encryption of data in motion/rest and key management).
• 8+ years’ experience in IT industry
• 3+ years’ experience in AWS cloud
• Excellent communication and organizational skills, and the ability to stay focused on completing tasks and meeting goals within a busy workspace.
• Skilled at working in tandem with a team of engineers, or alone as required.
