But there are a lot of people who manage their life with what they earn and struggle a lot, and I am sure that most of the people who read this will feel that this is their life story. In present situation its very difficult to get a job. First what we have to think is that we have to stand in our own leg and then we have to aim higher and higher.

Think of a person who is looking for a job abroad. He'll be having a lot of aspirations and he'll struggle a lot in order to achieve his ambitions. On this journey a few may succeed and most of them may not. It'll be based on their perception about the world. The lifestyle of people determines their savings. Most of them will be having debts and after a lot of squeezing only they can overcome their debts.

You can save a little here and a little there and it adds up to a lot. We have to learn to live with our means. No matters what others tell you. People have done it and you can do it , too. Always try to learn ways to cut expenses. We can't better our circumstances but we can learn to live with them and it means accepting what life has given you and learning to do the best with it.

I'll tell the real life story of a lady who is residing in Dubai. She went there on a visit visa in search of a job. At last she got a job as receptionist. But her salary was only Dh 2000 in that expensive country. Her friends advised her to look for another job. But she had no another choice. She had to save as much as she can because she took an unsecured loan from a loan shark of her country. Any way the biggest expense accommodation was provided by the employer. The expense for groceries was only Dh 500 which consists of inexpensive items which can be stored for a long time. Luxury items were completely avoided. She found a vendor who sells affordable meals in the office which cost Dh 9.The cost of meals in the home was negligible.

Transportation expenses are also least because company bus takes to and fro from work free of charge. Only on rare occasions she took taxi. Monthly taxi bill was only Dh 45.Most of the free time she spend at home. Night outs were completely avoided. While going for shopping with her friends she used to think about the money left in her wallet. Most of the time she used to find an excuse not to go with them to malls. She kept nearly Dh 50 for other miscellaneous expenses that is for any immediate expenses. At last she was successful in paying back the debts and now she is trying to save money to buy a new house for them in her home country. She planned her monthly budget as follows.
INCOME : 2000
GROCERY : 500
OFFICE LUNCH : 198(22working days)
TAXI : 45
OTHER MISCELLANEOUS EXPENSES : 50
TOTAL EXPENSES : 793
SAVINGS : 1207
From this we can understand that a budget should be maintained in order to lead a successful life. Planning is the basic thing which we require in our life whoever we are. Don't think about unfulfilled aspirations. But this doesn't mean to stop dreaming. Start dreaming today and aim for the best.
